Ichikawa’s approach is to comprehensively combine all elements for improving quality, rather than individual elements. To reliably fulfill our responsibilities to customers, we work hard to improve every part of our business operations, for superior quality and reliability as a company.

Quality Management System

Ichikawa has, with the participation of all employees, introduced a quality management system (QMS) in all divisions to always deliver high-quality, consistent products and to satisfy our customers. We also obtained ISO 9001 certification, the international standard for quality management, for all of our products. Guided by the detailed quality standards that we have established, we are working to stabilize and improve quality so that we always meet customers’ requirements. We also use those standards for continuous improvement.

Adopting the Ichikawa Production System

We created the proprietary, just-in-time Ichikawa Production System by organizing the production management expertise that we have built up for over half a century. We have unified all of our operations, from order receipt to product design, manufacturing, and shipping, to consistently and efficiently create high-quality products at the time they are needed and to minimize yield loss during production. We have also continually reduced CO2 emissions and waste by using environmentally friendly equipment and manufacturing methods.
