Achieves energy savings through both improved smoothness and high-speed conveyance.
In recent years, a major concern has been achieving higher speeds while maintaining dryness and smoothness. Closed transfer presses (CTPs) have been developed to address these requirements and improve productivity. The transfer belts used in paper machines equipped with CTPs operate steadily at speeds up to 2,000 meters per minute, ensuring stable operations, minimizing rewetting, increasing productivity, and improving paper quality. Ichikawa has been a pioneer in CTP technology since its inception, successfully developing these types of transfer belt products. We have achieved significant results in overseas markets, particularly in Europe and China, where CTP adoption is advancing. As we continue to add value in the paper industry, we are innovating with advanced products based on new concepts that combine high-speed operation with durability, in this way contributing to consistent operations.
Product Lineup
Developed for the latest high-speed machines, our transfer belts offer a good balance between improved sheet smoothness and high-speed conveyance.
Type Ⅴ
Dual-sided coated resin type for more durability
Enhanced wear resistance is achieved through the use of highly durable hydrophobic urethane resin on both sides, ensuring a long service life.
Type Ⅵ
Hydrophilic type with excellent sheet adhesion and dimensional stability
Designed for outstanding sheet transportability, this product features a highly adhesive hydrophilic resin on its surface. The hydrophilic resin effectively prevents surface contamination, such as pitch adhesion. Also, a special laminated base cloth ensures exceptional running stability.
