Cyber Security Basic Policy

Ichikawa Co., Ltd. (“the Company”) is committed to implementing company-wide cybersecurity measures based on the following policy, with the aim of appropriately protecting the information assets we handle during business operations from various threats, thereby earning the trust of stakeholders, including customers and shareholders, and society at large.

  1. Management Responsibility
    Recognizing cybersecurity risk as a significant managerial risk that our leadership team must address, the Company will endeavor to systematically and continuously improve and enhance our cybersecurity measures, while also complying with all relevant laws, regulations, norms, and contractual obligations. 
  2. Establishment of Management System
    The Company will establish a system for maintaining and improving cybersecurity and clearly define the system in our internal rules.  
  3. Establishment of Risk Response Mechanism and Exploration and Implementation of Risk Mitigation Measures
    The Company will examine and implement measures to contain residual risks below acceptable levels by developing a mechanism to identify, assess, analyze, manage, and address potential cybersecurity risks.  
  4. Continuous Improvement of Measures Through the PDCA Cycle
    The Company will continuously improve our cybersecurity measures by responding to evolving cybersecurity risks and executing PDCA cycles tailored to the characteristics of such risks. 
  5. Securing of Resources Necessary for Cybersecurity Measures
    The Company will strengthen our cybersecurity measures by securing the financial, human, and other resources necessary for such measures.  
  6. Provision of Training
    The Company will make all personnel, including officers, employees, and associate staff, aware of the importance of cybersecurity and specific compliance requirements, while also providing them with training to ensure cybersecurity. 
  7. Establishment of Incident Response System
    The Company will establish an incident response system that is capable of responding to emergencies and ensuring business continuity and recovery and we will conduct training drills to ensure we are prepared for potential incidents. 
  8. Promotion of Supply Chain Security Measures
    The Company will enhance the effectiveness of cybersecurity measures across the entire supply chain, including group companies and business partners. 
  9. Appropriate Communication with Stakeholders
    The Company is committed to communicating with stakeholders in an appropriate manner, such as by disclosing information on cybersecurity risks and countermeasures in a timely manner.
