Manufacturing Processes

We meet the needs of the paper industry with our state-of-the-art production facilities and products made by skilled craftsmen.

Weaving

We use advanced technology to ensure that the tension, length, and number of warp and weft yarns that make up the base fabric are always consistent under controlled temperature and humidity conditions. To further ensure high-quality stability and productivity, we actively introduce automated mechanisms using robots.

Pre-needling

In this process, short fibers are opened and form a web, which is then stacked and needle-punched to produce a mat of short fibers. This mat is measured and controlled for speckling to ensure uniform mass.

Needling

During this process, layers of fiber webs called batt are needled-punched into the base fabric under strictly controlled temperature and humidity. The condition of the base fabric is carefully inspected before needling to ensure the effective meshing of the fibers with the base fabric as well as the uniformity of the finished product. Also, each needles are carefully inspected for wear. Surface conditions and calipers are monitored continuously.

Washing/Drying/Finishing

Singeing
Washing

Needled felts are put through dryers equipped with cleaning equipment to remove residual oil from fibers and eliminate floating fibers. At this stage, we also apply a heat press and singeing to ensure the right permeability and smoothness of the surface. We also heat-set the base fabric to increase dimensional stability. Resin treatment is also applied in this process to add functionality, such as abrasion resistance or faster break-in.

Inspection

In the final product inspection, in addition, a visual inspection of the exterior, we have established strict inspection standards and shipping control over factors such as product properties including the basis weight, air permeability, and thickness. The goal is to meet customer needs and usage conditions.

Packaging

Products are packed in a manner that meets customers’ needs for workability and safety during installation. In addition, packing materials are carefully designed to prevent damage during transportation to the customer.
